I have noticed that it really makes a difference to the finished look of a quilt. At Stitchworks we retailed quite a large range of patchwork fabrics and I was forever asking the wholesalers about wide backers for quilts but there never seemed to be many available and so we never were able to offer our customers much of a selection, but now that has changed! In January 2006 I sold the retail side of my business so that I could concentrate more on my quilting . To complete the service that we already offer our patchworkers I decided it would be really great to be able to offer you all a much bigger selection of wide backing fabrics. So as my mother would say ”As one door closes another one opens” and that’s exactly what has happened. Stitchworks is now specializing in wide backing fabrics and the future is looking pretty exciting. We now have over 120 wide backing fabrics in stock. The other good news is that I now have a couple of Reps looking out for more selections for us which will grow your choices even further. Check our website often for the latest range. As with any fabrics these days we may not be able to repeat them again once they have sold out, but we will be sourcing new ones all the time. You can mail order by printing off the order form and posting us a cheque, or if you prefer, please use our 0800 number to place an order, and pay by phone or internet banking. Personal shoppers are also most welcome to visit our workroom. We are open Mon- Fri 9.00- 5.00 and are usually here on the weekends but it’s a good idea to phone first, just in case we have taken the weekend off. |
