| Basting | We can save you hours of time, and there is no need for you to crawl around the floor ever again putting trillions of safety pins into your quilt layers to hold them all together for you to quilt. I am happy to baste any size quilt for you for our minimum quilting charge of $40. By putting your quilt on my machine to baste it will take out all the wrinkles, and sandwich all the layers together with BIG stitches, which can easily be removed as you quilt your quilt. | Those of you who are making fairly large quilts may be interested in our binding service. As you probably know, your quilt can get quite heavy once it has the backing and batting attached, and some of us may struggle to work in smaller areas with our sewing machines to put the first row of binding on a quilt. I have a large area and a large sewing machine, and I can put the first row of binding onto your quilt for you so that you then only have to hand stitch the binding onto the back of your quilt. | The other method that we can offer is to completely sew the whole binding for you BUT it will NOT be hand stitched. I sew the binding to the back side of the quilt first and then machine stitch it down on the top side of the quilt. Cost between $25 and $35, depending on size. | |

We will discuss the style you require, work out fabric quantities for you, supply the batting and the backing or lining fabric, quilt it and finish it off completely for you. What could be easier than that? We are also happy to quilt any whole cloth piece of fabric for you up to 3.2 mtrs wide and as long as you like, in almost any design. We can quilt around the design on the fabric or channel Quilt {straight Lines} or put a continuous line pattern on it or a free style pattern, the choices are limitless!
