As a machine quilter I believe it is important to keep developing my quilting style and learning new techniques. I have come a long way in 3 years: During the first year I spent a lot of time trying to perfect the art of putting continuous line patterns onto your quilts and it was not always easy to make those patterns go around corners nicely etc. Looking back I think that my style was very structured then and I hadn’t yet learned to let go and let the quilt dictate how it wants to be quilted. While this may sound a little corny, I have found the quilts with the most pleasing results have” just been allowed to happen.”

There is a place for many different techniques and styles, and in my business I want to be able to offer you lots of choices. YOUR choices will be dictated by many factors, such as how your quilt has been constructed, whether it will be washed every second day, or is an Heirloom Quilt. And possibly how much you wish to spend on the quilting. This is why I offer you lots of choices in quilting styles. I am more than happy to give you a quote for quilting your quilt after I have looked at it and discussed the options with you. A lot of the quilts I receive for quilting come to me by courier or post and it is no problem to discuss them over the phone or by email,
